An avid rider and local senior was needlessly killed on a road I use all the time when clipped by a motorist who carelessly veered over the right white lane marker. That's why the most important piece of safety equipment on a bike is a mirror. Preferably a bar mounted one instead of a tiny helmet mounted one.
